I am a non medical care provider. I will not diagnose you with any health issues or administer medications. If you have questions or concerns that are not within my scope of practice, I will refer to you the right professional.

Some chest feeding and lactation concerns may fall out of my scope of practice. That may result in a referral to an IBCLC.

I also do not offer heavy house cleaning services. While I will help straighten up, do laundry and dishes, I don’t deep clean your home. However, I can help you find a professional who does.

Morning shifts: If you have a hard time finding the motivation to get out of bed bright and early, I can come over for an early morning shift to help get the day started. A morning shift may include but is not limited to:

  • Preparing a batch of formula or breastmilk for the day
  • Caring for baby while you start your morning with a cup of coffee or a hot shower
  • Getting started on a load of laundry and unloading the dishwasher from last night’s dinner
  • Assisting you with caring for baby and sharing tips and tricks to help you through the day

Evening shifts: Does your baby seem particularly fussy during the late afternoon/early evening hours? If the witching hour is common in your home, you may find this shift to be ideal. An evening shift may include but is not limited to:

  • Calming baby while you prepare dinner
  • Assist with bath time and bedtime routine
  • Caring for baby while you and your partner enjoy each other’s company at the end of the day
  • Clean up after dinner so you and your partner can bond with baby
  • Get baby down for the night

Overnight shifts: Overnight shifts are popular for the simple reason that everyone wants and needs a full night of sleep with little to no interruptions. Click here to learn what overnight support looks like.

Yes! If you choose to chest feed or nurse your baby at night, you will still find overnight support beneficial. You won’t even need to leave your bed! Sometimes nighttime feeds can have you awake for over an hour tending to baby. When baby shows hunger cues throughout the night, I will bring baby to you to nurse. After feeding you can go right back to sleep and I will take baby to the nursery, burp, change, swaddle and soothe back to sleep. You will find overnight support particularly helpful if baby is refluxy/gassy.

If you choose to pump throughout the night instead of nurse, I will come get your pumped breastmilk and prepare a bottle to feed baby. Your pump parts will be washed and brought back to you in time for your next pumping session.

If you choose to bottle feed formula. I will take care of all of baby’s need throughout the night while you get a full night of sleep.
